Salary: From £36,000 per year, depending on experience

Paragon are currently working with a fast-growing property maintenance company based in Essex who are looking for an experienced and reliable Drainage Engineer to join their expanding team.

The ideal candidate will ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience in the drainage industry, with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

-Unblocking drains and diagnosing drainage faults.
-Carrying out drainage repairs, excavations and drain laying.
-Conducting CCTV drainage surveys and identifying defects.
-Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment.
-Installing patch liners and carrying out drain repairs.
-Undertaking basic plumbing and property maintenance work.
-Identifying required remedial works and preparing accurate quotations.
-Providing clear reports and recommendations to customers.
-Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.

Requirements
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience in drainage engineering.
-Experience in most of the following areas:
-Drain unblocking and fault finding.
-Excavations and drain laying.
-CCTV drainage surveys.
-High-pressure water jetting.
-Patch lining and drainage repairs.
-Quoting for drainage works.
-Basic plumbing knowledge.

-Full, valid UK driving licence. (No more than 6 points)
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Reliable, punctual and willing to take a proactive approach to work.
-Availability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime, weekends and out-of-hours call-outs.

-A DBS check will be required.

Salary and Benefits
Basic salary from £36,000 per year, depending on experience.
Additional out-of-hours call-out payments.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Minimum commitment of 45 hours per week.
Overtime available.
Weekend availability required when necessary.

Flexibility for out-of-hours emergency call-outs.
