Multi-Trade / Groundworker

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Employment: Full-time – 45 hours per week
Salary: Up to £38,610 PAYE DOE
Company Vehicle: Van and fuel card provided

Paragon Resource Solutions are currently working in partnership with a reputable Property Services contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Trade / Groundworker to join their reactive maintenance and voids team Covering a 30-mile radius of Sandy including Milton Keynes, Bedford & Hatfield
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of repair, maintenance and improvement works across domestic social housing properties.

Key Skills & Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
-Carpentry
-Brickwork
-Concrete repairs
-Laying slabs and small paving works
-Fencing repairs and installation
-Painting & decorating
-Skirting and floorboard repairs
-Fitting and repairing internal doors
-Gutter repairs
-General property maintenance and remedial works

Main Responsibilities

-Carry out a variety of repair, maintenance and upgrade works to domestic social housing properties.
-Complete reactive maintenance and void property works to a high standard.
-Assess jobs and determine the appropriate materials and methods required.
-Ensure all works are completed efficiently, safely and within agreed timescales.
-Maintain a high standard of workmanship and provide excellent customer service.
-Communicate professionally with residents and respond appropriately to customer enquiries.
-Travel to multiple properties and work locations throughout the designated area.
-Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant health and safety requirements.

Requirements

-Previous experience working in a Multi-Trade, Groundworker or Property Maintenance role.
-Competent in a range of the trades listed above, with particular experience in groundworks, fencing, brickwork, concrete repairs and carpentry.
-A full UK driving licence is essential, with no more than 6 points.
-Comfortable travelling to multiple locations within a 30-mile radius of the SG19 area.
-Applicants should ideally hold a relevant full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 qualification, or have a proven track record demonstrating suitable trade experience.
